Spa Services is quickly becoming the wave of the future and is a great way to expand your practice. The Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy approves this Certification Program for 72 CEU Hours. Courses may also be taken in 6 Hour increments. Once all of the courses have been completed you will receive a certificate indicating you completion of the Certification Program.

Students will learn about treatments for the Scalp. Anatomy of the cranial structure will be taught from a skeletal, muscular and functional position. Communication skills with the client, basic scalp massage and product option will be discussed. Each student will give and receive a treatment.

This class will teach you to use different types of Salt based exfoliation products. You will learn about choosing the right salt and base for your clients desired outcome, and technique for wet or dry area. Indications and contraindications will be covered during this class. In this class, particular focus will be placed on the charka system and different methods of balancing these areas. Polarity, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Cranial Sacral, Vibration, Breath, and Focus will be discussed. Students will get to experience different techniques to facilitate a deep relaxed balanced affect. *You will need to bring: set of sheets, pillow case or face cradle cover, pen & pad for notes*

This course focuses on developing techniques required for a Full Body Masque in either a wet or dry room environment. Students will be provided with AVEDA and/or Biotone products to use during class. Learn new skills and treat yourself at the same time.

Spa Services I - Facial Massage Treatment
Focuses on developing techniques for facial masque and massage. Students will be provided with AVEDA products to use during class. Learn new skills and treat yourself at the same time.

Learn to incorporate full body stretching techniques into your massage practice. Techniques can be used as a full body routine or used only for specific problem areas.

In this class students will learn about paraffin treatments for the hands and foot bath. Anatomy of the hands and feet will be taught from a skeletal, muscular and functional position. Communication skills with the client and basic reflexology zones will also be covered.
